  • Psychoanalytic Aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology

“This book provides a thoughtful and in-depth consideration of the psychological and psychoanalytic issues assisted reproductive technology. It offers theoretical understanding, detailed clinical presentations of individual cases, a review of family aspects, a discussion of the implications of the entrance of the medical system and the doctor into the sexual relationship of the couple, and a chapter on the treatment of anxiety about motherhood. It fills a real need for more knowledge about this important topic.”

    — Malkah Tolpin Notman, MD, Psychiatry Clinical Professor, Harvard School of Medicine; psychoanalyst, Boston Psychoanalytic Institute

  • A Path With No Name

Mali Mann takes the measure of life and finds it in the earth, in mountains, in dreams, in nature, in culture—and brings it back to us transformed and transforming. Her method of using paintings in conjunction with poetry is in the tradition of ekphrasis as in Keats’s “Ode to a Grecian Urn” and Shelley’s “On the Medusa of Leonardo DaVinci in the Florentine Gallery” The combination produces a kind of power to express emotion that neither has alone. Reader, read it. Viewer, see it.

    — Arlene Kramer Richards, Psychoanalyst, Poet, author of Psychoanalysis: Listening to Understand and The Laundryman’s Granddaughter

  • Whisper, Forget Me Not

"Even as Mali Mann's pen eases her sufferings ("planting them one by one in the garden") their passion and pain carry over again and again in these lines. That brooding, monolithic sense of silence, as witness to the responsiveness that slips slowly away, is anguishing. Yet hope peaks in those few, precious flickers of recognition and love passing across that heavy fog. And it does in other lines of loss: 'tell me how your courage is my wardrobe.'"

    — Joseph Caston, San Francisco Psychoanalyst and Poet

  • My Pony Keron

My Pony Keron is a touching tale of bonding between a young girl and her attraction for horses, leading to her recognition of her love, touching care and development of trust through understanding and riding.

It will inspire every child, despite any adversity that may come his/her way, both developmentally and interpersonally.

The book helps children to understand the significance of the attachment to animals especially in this tale that shows Parish’s deep love for her horse, Keron.
