Services

I will make a comprehensive assessment that will consist of several sessions. Then, we will discuss my recommendation to help you decide to go forward with my treatment plan if we are a good fit.

Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis

Adult, Adolescent & Children

I provide psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with or without medication. The frequency of therapy is at least once a week and often more frequent.

I conduct psychotherapy in English. I can also speak Farsi and elementary French.

Child Therapy is for those children who are unhappy or frightened for reasons they cannot verbalize or explain. They do not know how to make friends or get along at home or school. Sometimes they cannot control their behavior and cannot find other ways to express their feelings. I help them to use words that help to contain their emotions.

I am qualified to understand the whole "child" and help parents think about what form of help would best suit their child's individual needs.

I sometimes work with toddlers who cry a lot, have eating and sleeping problems, or have difficulties with toilet training.

Consultation & Supervision

I also provide consultation and supervision for mental health clinicians.

I listen carefully to my patients as they share their life experiences, disappointments, conflicts, fears, life transitions, and dreams.

I believe in teamwork based on the foundation of trust and a focus on attunement. As profound insights gradually develop, we will address issues that impeded progress in life. As psychotherapeutic work deepens, a transformative process will follow, widening the inner world with the opening of a creative drive for a fuller and more satisfying life experience and choices.
